WJSP-FM

WJSP-FM is the Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) Public radio station serving Columbus and all of west-central Georgia. It shares a radio tower with GPB TV station WJSP-TV just outside of Warm Springs, Georgia, its city of license. The station was one of the first GPB radio stations, first broadcasting in 1984. Unlike some of the other stations in the system, WJSP-FM only simulcasts the GPB radio network, with no local programs.

WJSP-TV

WJSP-TV 23, part of the Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member Public broadcasting network, serves Columbus, Georgia and the surrounding west-central Georgia and far east-central Alabama region. The transmitter and radio antenna are located just south of Warm Springs on the same radio tower as WJSP-FM 88.1. It's one of only two GPB stations actually licensed to a major Georgia city, the other being WVAN-TV in Savannah.

Polio Hall of Fame

The Polio Hall of Fame (or the Polio Wall of Fame) consists of a linear grouping of sculptured busts of fifteen scientists and two laymen who made important contributions to the knowledge and treatment of poliomyelitis. It is found on the outside wall of what is called Founder's Hall of the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation in Warm Springs, Georgia, USA.
