Ocmulgee National Monument

Ocmulgee National Monument preserves traces of over ten millennia of Southeastern Native American culture, including major earthworks built more than 1,000 years ago by the South Appalachian Mississippian culture (a regional variation of the Mississippian culture. ) These include the Great Temple and other ceremonial mounds, a burial mound, and defensive trenches. WGNM

WGNM digital channel 45 is a television station in Macon, Georgia. It is an owned and operated station, broadcasting the programming of the Christian Television Network. On 2 September 2006, thirteen days before the shutdown of the network, WGNM's contract with UPN came to an end. Subsequently, WGNM became a full time CTN affiliate. In 2008, WGNM ceased analog TV broadcasts on channel 64 on February 1. The station originally planned to keep the analog signal until the 2009 conversion.

WDEN-FM (99.1 FM, "#1 Country 99") is a radio station licensed to serve Macon, Georgia, USA. The station is owned by Cumulus Media and the broadcast license is held by Cumulus Licensing, LLC. WDEN broadcasts a country music format. WDEN-FM is home to the "Early Morning Crew" morning show, featuring radio personality Laura Starling and Vance Shepherd. The Early Morning Crew formerly featured Laura Starling and program director Gerry Marshall, who retired in 2004.

WAYS AM 1500, known as 1500 The Fan, is a radio station serving the Macon, Georgia area with an sports radio format. This station is under ownership of Cumulus Media. Until September 4, 2009, it was an affiliate of ABC Radio's True Oldies Channel when it was Oldies Radio 1500, with the slogan "Macon's True Oldies Channel". Because it shares the same frequency as clear-channel station WFED in Washington, D.C. , it broadcasts only during the daytime hours.
