Mercer University

Mercer University is a private, coeducational university located in the U.S. state of Georgia. Mercer enrolls approximately 8,300 students in its eleven colleges and schools: liberal arts, business, education, music, engineering, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, law, theology, and continuing and professional studies. Ocmulgee National Monument

Ocmulgee National Monument preserves traces of over ten millennia of Southeastern Native American culture, including major earthworks built more than 1,000 years ago by the South Appalachian Mississippian culture (a regional variation of the Mississippian culture. ) These include the Great Temple and other ceremonial mounds, a burial mound, and defensive trenches. They represented highly skilled engineering techniques and soil knowledge, and the organization of many laborers.

Mount de Sales Academy (Georgia)

Mount de Sales Academy is an independent Catholic, college preparatory school in Macon, Georgia. It was founded in 1876 by five Sisters of Mercy as a boarding school for girls across the South, it became coeducational in 1959 and closed boarding school operations in 1963. The Sisters served in an administrative capacity until 2002 when the first lay head of school in the school's history was selected by the Mount de Sales Academy Board of Trustees.

Southwest Magnet High School

Southwest Magnet High School, also known as Southwest-Macon and Southwest Magnet High School and Law Academy, is a high school in Macon, Georgia, serving students in grades 9-12. It is a unit of the Bibb County Public School System. In the 1970s, Macon residents often claimed that Southwest was the largest high school in the United States in both campus size and attendance numbers.
