New Lenox Township, Will County, Illinois

New Lenox Township is located in the heart Will County, Illinois on US Route 30 and Interstate 80. The population was 40,270 at the 2010 census. New Lenox Township has thirty-six square miles within its jurisdiction. It serves almost all of the Village of New Lenox and parts of the individual municipalities of Mokena, Homer Glen, Joliet and, of course, the entire unincorporated areas of the New Lenox community. New Lenox Township changed its name from Vernon Township on June 10, 1850.

New Lenox (Metra)

New Lenox is a commuter railroad station along Metra's Rock Island District line in New Lenox, a southern suburb of Chicago, Illinois, USA. The station is officially located on 300 North Church Street, and lies 34 miles away from LaSalle Street, the northern terminus of the line, however parking is available between Church Street and far northeast of Haven Avenue. It is also the penultimate station along the RID line before reaching the end of the line at Joliet Union Station.

Laraway Road (Metra)

Laraway Road is a commuter railroad station recently completed in New Lenox, a southern suburb of Chicago, Illinois. The station was dedicated on October 6, 2006, and train service began on October 9, 2006. The station is a stop for Metra's SouthWest Service trains, which go to Union Station in downtown Chicago. The station's parking lot has 300 spaces, although there is enough room to have a total of 1200.
