Haskell-Baker Wetlands
The Haskell-Baker Wetlands is an artificially-sustained nature preserve, spanning approximately 640 acres adjacently south of Lawrence, Kansas, United States. Joint owners Baker University, Haskell Indian Nations University, the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, and the University of Kansas hold 573, 27, 20, and 20 acres, respectively. Baker University received its portion from the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare in 1968.

Hoglund Ballpark
Hoglund Ballpark is a baseball stadium in Lawrence, Kansas. It is the home field of the Kansas Jayhawks college baseball team. The stadium holds 2,500 people and opened for baseball in 1958. It is named after former Jayhawk baseball shortstop Forrest Hoglund. Following the 2010 season, an artificial turf surface was installed at the facility. The installation, which was overseen by AstroTurf USA, cost $1.2 million, all of which was funded by donations to the Jayhawk baseball program.

Allen Fieldhouse is an indoor sports arena on the University of Kansas (KU) campus in Lawrence, and home of the Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team. The arena is named in honor of Dr. Forrest C. "Phog" Allen, a former coach of the Jayhawks whose tenure lasted 39 years. The Allen Fieldhouse is one of College basketball's most historically significant and prestigious buildings, with 37 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament games having been hosted at the center.
