Hutchinson Correctional Facility

Hutchinson Correctional Facility (HCF) is a state prison operated by the Kansas Department of Corrections located in Hutchinson, Kansas in Reno County. The prison was originally known as the Kansas State Industrial Reformatory (KSIR) and designed to house younger offenders. Construction on KSIR began in 1885, but delays prevented completion of the facility, which would not begin housing inmates until 1895.

Hutchinson (Amtrak station)

The Hutchinson Amtrak station is a train station in Hutchinson, Kansas, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. Hutchinson Station was originally a Victorian structure built in 1897 that was replaced by a more contemporary brick depot in 1950. Both buildings were built and owned by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The original station included The Bisonte a former Harvey House. The depot building also houses the Cool Beans restaurant.

Hutchinson Sports Arena

The Hutchinson Sports Arena is a 7,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Hutchinson, Kansas, USA. It hosts locals sporting events and concerts. It was opened in 1952. The arena is the home of Hutchinson Community College men's and women's basketball and the Kansas Class 3A State boys' and girls' basketball tournaments. The arena hosted Hutchinson High School varsity basketball until the SaltHawk Athletic Center was constructed in about 2002.
