Boyle County, Kentucky

Boyle County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. Its county seat is Danville. In 2010, its population was 28,432. It was formed in 1842 and named for John Boyle (1774–1835), a U.S. Representative, chief justice of the Kentucky Court of Appeals and later federal judge for the District of Kentucky. The county is part of the Danville micropolitan area.

Centre College

Centre College is a private liberal arts college located in Danville, Kentucky, USA, a community of approximately 16,000 in Boyle County south of Lexington, KY. Centre is an undergraduate four-year institution with an enrollment of approximately 1,350 students. Centre was founded by Presbyterian leaders, with whom it maintains a loose affiliation, and officially chartered by the Kentucky General Assembly in 1819.
