Round Hill, Kentucky

Round Hill is an unincorporated community in Madison County, Kentucky, United States. It lies 10 miles southwest of Richmond on County Road 595. A burial mound attributed by the National Register of Historic Places to the Adena Culture is the central feature of the village. The ovoid earthwork has a base of roughly 150 by 90 feet and a height of 25 feet. Unsystematic excavations in the early twentieth century by local residents produced flint tools and human remains.

Madison County, Kentucky

Madison County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. According to the 2010 census, the population was 82,916. Its county seat is Richmond. The county is named for Virginia statesman James Madison, who later became the fourth President of the United States. This is also where famous pioneer Daniel Boone lived and built Fort Boonesborough, now a state historic site. Madison County is part of the Richmond-Berea micropolitan area.

Roy Kidd Stadium

Roy Kidd Stadium is Eastern Kentucky University's football stadium in Richmond, Kentucky. The stadium is home to the EKU Colonels football team, located on campus. Currently, Roy Kidd Stadium consists of upper and lower level seating areas with a predominant majority of the seats being metal bleachers. Reserved chairback seats can be found in the middle of the lower level, as well, the seats are generally purchased by season ticket holders and Eastern Alumni.
