Lake Charles (Amtrak station)

The Lake Charles Amtrak station is a train station in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It is located on 100 Ryan Street at the west end of South Railroad Avenue. Lake Charles station is a decorative unstaffed waiting room that serves as a replacement for the original Lake Charles Station on South Railroad Avenue between Bilbo and Hedges Streets. The site of the former station shifts Railroad Avenue slightly to the south.

Sudduth Coliseum

Sudduth Coliseum, in the Lake Charles Civic Center, is a 7,450-seat multi-purpose arena in Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA. It is home to the Louisiana Swashbucklers of the Indoor Football League. Located on Lakeshore Drive, it is the main arena of the Lake Charles Civic Center. It is a premier venue for hosting special events, including the 2006 Louisiana State Choir festival and Contraband Days. The center is named for former Lake Charles Mayor James Sudduth.

Moss Bluff, Louisiana

Moss Bluff is a census-designated place (CDP) in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 11,557 at the 2010 census. Located just north of the city of Lake Charles, it is considered a suburb of that city. Moss Bluff is a burgeoning community, and is one of the communities in Calcasieu Parish besides Lake Charles experiencing growth. Several efforts have been made to incorporate Moss Bluff, but at current time the community is unincorporated.
