Calcasieu River Bridge

The Calcasieu River Bridge is a cantilever bridge located on Interstate 10 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. It was the only major bridge in Lake Charles until the construction of the Lake Charles Loop with the I-210 Calcasieu River High Bridge began in 1962. The bridge has a vertical clearance of 135 feet (41 m). It was built under the administration of Gov. Earl K. Long and opened in 1952. It has decorative iron work with crossed guns integrated into the railings.

Sudduth Coliseum

Sudduth Coliseum, in the Lake Charles Civic Center, is a 7,450-seat multi-purpose arena in Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA. It is home to the Louisiana Swashbucklers of the Indoor Football League. Located on Lakeshore Drive, it is the main arena of the Lake Charles Civic Center. It is a premier venue for hosting special events, including the 2006 Louisiana State Choir festival and Contraband Days. The center is named for former Lake Charles Mayor James Sudduth.

Lake Charles (Amtrak station)

The Lake Charles Amtrak station is a train station in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It is located on 100 Ryan Street at the west end of South Railroad Avenue. Lake Charles station is a decorative unstaffed waiting room that serves as a replacement for the original Lake Charles Station on South Railroad Avenue between Bilbo and Hedges Streets. The site of the former station shifts Railroad Avenue slightly to the south.
