KKAY

KKAY is a radio station broadcasting a Variety format. Licensed to White Castle, Louisiana, USA, the station serves the Baton Rouge area. The station is currently owned by Cactus Communications. KKAY 1590 AM broadcasts a unique blend of Gospel and Christian music, current hits and the classic old time favorites. KKAY also airs 13 hours of local sports every week. KKAY is the only radio station in the Gulf South that carries girls high school softball.

Plaquemine, Louisiana

Plaquemine is a city in and the parish seat of Iberville Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 7,064 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area. Plaquemine is the birthplace of radio talk show host Moon Griffon, who broadcasts statewide from Monroe. Griffon is sometimes known as the "Cajun Rush Limbaugh". The town is also home to former Democratic Lieutenant Governor Robert "Bobby" Freeman.
