Timbalier Bay

Timbalier Bay is a bay in southeastern Louisiana in the United States. The bay is an inlet of the Gulf of Mexico and lies near New Orleans along the southwestern coast of Lafouche Parish. Timbalier Island lies between the bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The United States Navy seaplane tender USS Timbalier, in commission from 1946 to 1954, was named for Timbalier Bay.

Golden Meadow, Louisiana

Golden Meadow town along Bayou Lafourche in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 2,193 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Houma–Bayou Cane–Thibodaux Metropolitan Statistical Area. Its main source of revenue is revenue from property tax, sales tax, and revenue from the oil and gas industry. The fishing and seafood industry also have a strong economic impact with charter fishing, restaurants, and lodging actively serving patron.

Grand Isle, Louisiana
