Ida, Louisiana
Ida is a village in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 258 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Shreveport–Bossier City Metropolitan Statistical Area. Ida and nearby Rodessa are the most northwesterly communities in Louisiana. In August 2012, Ida Town Clerk Haywood Williamson (born c. 1941) was arrested for felony theft and confined to the Caddo Correctional Center, according to Sheriff Steve Prator. Williamson was also the only employee of the town water department.

KTAL TV Tower (also called Nexstar Broadcasting Tower Vivian) is a 1,558-foot-tall), respectively 1,480 feet without appurtenances, tall guyed mast used for TV transmission by K-TAL at the Old Atlanta Highway near Vivian, Louisiana, USA at 32° 54'11.0" N and 94° 00'21.0" W. KTAL TV-Tower was at its completion in 1961 the tallest structure of Louisiana and the fourth tallest in the world.

KTAL-TV is the NBC-affiliated television station serving Shreveport and the Ark-La-Tex region that is licensed to Texarkana, Texas. It is the only major network affiliate serving the Shreveport-Texarkana market that is licensed to a city located outside of Louisiana. It broadcasts a high-definition digital signal on UHF channel 15 from a transmitter located in Vivian, Louisiana.
