Derry is a town in unincorporated Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, United States, located on Louisiana Highway 1. It is the closest town to Magnolia Plantation, a National Historic Landmark. Cloutierville, Louisiana

Cloutierville is an unincorporated community in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, United States. It lies about 20 miles south of the city of Natchitoches on exit 119 at Interstate 49. The community is part of the Natchitoches Micropolitan Statistical Area. This is a homeland of many multiracial Louisiana Creole people. The town was built on the plantation of Alexis Cloutier and incorporated in 1822. The plantation was later owned by Kate Chopin.

Mink, Louisiana

Mink is an unincorporated community in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, United States, about 100 miles south of Shreveport. It is in Kisatchie National Forest. Mink was one of the last places in the United States to receive traditional landline telephone service. Its service was started in 2005, when BellSouth spent $700,000, or about $47,000 per phone, to run a cable of 30 miles through thick forests to the town.

Cane River Lake

Cane River Lake is a 35 mi (56 km) oxbow lake formed from a portion of the Red River in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, United States.
