KTAL-TV is the NBC-affiliated television station serving Shreveport and the Ark-La-Tex region that is licensed to Texarkana, Texas. It is the only major network affiliate serving the Shreveport-Texarkana market that is licensed to a city located outside of Louisiana. KTAL TV-Tower was at its completion in 1961 the tallest structure of Louisiana and the fourth tallest in the world.
