Old Town Municipal Airport and Seaplane Base, also known as Dewitt Field, is a public use airport located two nautical miles (4 km) northwest of the central business district of Old Town, in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. It is owned by the City of Old Town. The seaplane base is located on Marsh Island on the Penobscot River.

Marsh Island (Maine)

Marsh Island is an island on the Penobscot River in Penobscot County. The Penobscot River borders the eastern side of the island, while the Stillwater River, a side arm of the Penobscot, borders the western side of the island. The towns of Old Town and Orono occupy portions of Marsh Island. The University of Maine campus occupies the southwestern corner of the island while Old Town Municipal Airport and Seaplane Base are at the island's northern end. U.S.

WMEB-FM

WMEB-FM is a non-commercial American radio station owned and operated by the University of Maine. WMEB became an official radio station in January 1964 when the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensed the station to operate on the frequency of 91.9 mHz FM, and its callsign became WMEB-FM. Originally broadcasting between 4pm and 10pm, WMEB was a "mix of music, news, and informational programming. " The station remained with this format throughout most of the 1960s.
