Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City was established in 1946 and is a part of the United States Coast Guard's Ninth District (USCG). It is situated on the southern end of Grand Traverse Bay in northern Michigan at the Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, Michigan. The Traverse Area Recreational Trail (TART Trail) is a rail trail in Michigan.
