TART Trail

The Traverse Area Recreational Trail (TART Trail) is a rail trail in Michigan. It is a paved, non-motorized recreational trail of 10.5-mile in length that extends from the west side of Traverse City, Michigan to Acme, Michigan. Most, but not all, of the trail follows the 19th-century roadbed of the former Chicago and West Michigan Railway.

Huntington Rink

Huntington Rink at Centre ICE (originally Republic Rink) is a 1,800-seat indoor arena located in Traverse City, Michigan. It is used primarily for ice hockey, and is the home of the Traverse City North Stars hockey team. The Traverse City Central High School, Traverse City St. Francis High School, and Traverse City West High School hockey teams also play their home games there, and the Detroit Red Wings hold their training camp at the arena.

Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City

Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City was established in 1946 and is a part of the United States Coast Guard's Ninth District (USCG). It is situated on the southern end of Grand Traverse Bay in northern Michigan at the Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, Michigan. Since 1995, Air Station Traverse City has controlled and manned Air Facilities throughout southern Lake Michigan. The area of operations includes all of Lake Michigan and Lake Superior and most of Lake Huron.
