Superior Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan
Superior Charter Township is a charter township of Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 13,058 at the 2010 census. The unincorporated community of Dixboro is within the township, near its western edge. The township is surrounded by the nearby, larger communities of Canton Township, Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor. The township is largely rural north of Geddes Road, which has been designated by the township government as the northern limit of high density development.

Lurie Tower
The Ann and Robert H. Lurie Tower, located on North Campus at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and housing a grand carillon—one of only 23 in the world, but one of two on the Michigan campus—was built in 1996 as a memorial for Michigan alumnus Robert H. Lurie. The Lurie Tower was designed by Michigan alumnus Charles Moore (AB '47, Hon Arch Ph.D. '92), with the structural engineering done by Robert M. Darvas Associates. The tower was dedicated in October 1996.

Nichols Arboretum is an arboretum operated by the University of Michigan. Located on the eastern edge of its Central Campus at 1610 Washington Heights in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Arboretum is a mosaic of University and City properties operated as one unit. The arboretum is open daily from sunrise to sunset with no charge for admission. The Huron River separates a northern section of the arboretum's floodplain woods; the railroad marks the northern border.
