Matchwood Township is a civil township of Ontonagon County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 115 at the 2000 census. The tiny unincorporated community of Matchwood is at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:46|33|23|N|89|23|47|W|region:US-MI_type:city_scale:30000_source:GNIS | |name=Matchwood }} on M-28 about 6 miles west of Ewen and 9 miles east of Bergland.
