WAGN (1340 AM) is a radio station licensed to Menominee, Michigan broadcasting an oldies and talk format. Formerly an affiliate of ABC Radio's OldiesRadio network, the web site dx-midAMerica reported in January 2008 that the station had dropped Oldies Radio in favor of local voicetracking with the new moniker "1340 Gold" (1). Prior to affiliating with Oldies Radio, WAGN had programmed Adult Standards as an affiliate of the Westwood One/Dial Global America's Best Music network.

Menominee Opera House
Built in 1902, the Menominee Opera House (later known as The Menominee Theater) resides in the Historic Waterfront District of downtown Menominee, Michigan. It was designed by well-known American architect George O. Garnsey, whose other designs include the Ogle County Courthouse in Oregon, Illinois and Queen Anne style homes such as the Ellwood House in DeKalb, Illinois.

Stephenson Island (Wisconsin)
Stephenson Island (formerly "Stephenson Isle") is located in the Menominee River within the boundary of Marinette, Wisconsin at a latitude of 45.1019294 north and longitude 87.6292735 west, at an elevation of 587 feet. It is named after Isaac Stephenson, a prominent politician and businessman in Marinette at the turn of the 20th century. The island is a city park and thus, uninhabited.
