Biloxi High School

Biloxi High School is the only public high school located in the city of Biloxi, Mississippi. It has approximately 1400 students and 100 faculty. Prior to Hurricane Katrina, there were 1201 students. Biloxi High School is the Alma Mater of Fred Haise, a member of the Apollo 13 mission to the moon.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Biloxi encompasses 17 counties in south Mississippi. It was erected on March 1, 1977, when it was split from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jackson. The diocese is part of the ecclesiastical province of Mobile. The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in Biloxi, Mississippi, is the diocese's cathedral.

Biloxi, Mississippi

Biloxi is a city in Harrison County, Mississippi. The 2010 census recorded the population as 44,054. Along with the adjoining city of Gulfport, Biloxi is a county seat of Harrison County. The city is part of the Gulfport-Biloxi metropolitan area and the Gulfport-Biloxi-Pascagoula, Mississippi Combined Statistical Area. Pre-Katrina, Biloxi was the third largest city in Mississippi behind Jackson and Gulfport; but with its population losses following that storm, it was passed by Hattiesburg.

D'Iberville, Mississippi

D'Iberville is a city in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States, immediately north of Biloxi, across the Back Bay. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 9,486. It is part of the Gulfport–Biloxi Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is named after Pierre Le Moyne d'Iberville, who arrived at the area in 1699. Nearly 300 years later, D'Iberville officially became a city in 1988. D'Iberville was one of the Gulf Coast cities hit by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
