Carroll County, Mississippi

Carroll County is a county located in the Mississippi Deltaalthough most of its land is in the hill country, region of the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of 2010, the population is 10,597. Its county seat is Carrollton, Mississippi. It is part of the Greenwood, Mississippi Micropolitan Statistical Area. Carroll County is named for Charles Carroll of Carrollton, the last surviving signatory of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.
