Devils Elbow, Missouri

Devils Elbow, Missouri is an unincorporated community in Pulaski County on historic U.S. Highway 66. It is situated on the Big Piney River and was named for a particularly bad place in the river known as a "devil of an elbow". It is about five miles (8 km) east of St. Robert. The community still has a post office and zip code; along with Laquey, it is one of only two unincorporated places in Pulaski County to retain a post office.

Powellville, Missouri

Powellville is a former town on U.S. Highway 66, now an outer road of Interstate 44 in Phelps County, Missouri, United States. It is located about twelve miles (19 km) west of Rolla. Nothing remains of the town. Powellville was constructed in the late 1920s or early 1930s, with a small motel to serve the drivers of Powell Brothers Truck Line. They traveled from southwest Missouri to St. Louis with freight.

St. Robert, Missouri

St. Robert is a city in Pulaski County, Missouri, United States. The population was 4,340 at the 2010 census. It is a gateway community to the United States Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Fort Leonard Wood. It is named after the local Catholic parish, whose patron saint was an important early Jesuit.
