Reynolds County, Missouri

Reynolds County is a county located in the northwestern portion of the Ozark Foothills Region in the Lead Belt in Southeast Missouri in the United States. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the county's population was 6,696. Its county seat is Centerville. The county was officially organized on February 25, 1845, and was named in honor of former Governor of Missouri Thomas Reynolds. The county is home to Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park, a popular tourist attraction in the state of Missouri.

Corridon, Missouri

Corridon is an unincorporated community in western Reynolds County, Missouri. It is located about one miles south of Reynolds and seven miles southwest of Centerville. In 1813, Henry Fry (the first known settler in Reynolds County) was not a man of the soil, but rather a hunter, fur trapper and trader among the then transient Indians who passed through the area that would later become Black River Township in Reynolds County Missouri.
