East Derry, New Hampshire

East Derry is an unincorporated village in the town of Derry in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. The village center constitutes the East Derry Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located on a hill close to the geographic center of the town of Derry along East Derry Road, approximately 2 miles east of the built-up town center of Derry. East Derry has a separate ZIP code (03041) from the rest of the town of Derry.

Pinkerton Academy

Pinkerton Academy is a secondary school in Derry, New Hampshire. It is the largest independent academy in the United States, serving roughly 3,100 students as the high school (grades 9 - 12) for the communities of Derry, Hampstead, and Chester. The town of Auburn will join Pinkerton in Fall of 2012. The academy is a private non-profit corporation administered by a Headmaster, who in turn acts under the direction of an elected 15 member Board of Trustees.

West Running Brook Middle School

West Running Brook Middle School is located in the town of Derry, New Hampshire, United States. The school was built in 1994 - 1995 and opened in September, 1995. The school has about 600 students in grades 6-8. Each grade has 2 pods, or teams. Each team has its own set of classrooms, teachers, and lockers. The current principal of West Running Brook, since August 2006, is Leslie Saucier. This school was built to alleviate the overcrowding at the town's only other middle school, Gilbert H.
