Allamuchy Township is a township in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 4,323. Allamuchy Township was incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 4, 1873, from portions of Independence Township. Allamuchy-Panther Valley is a census-designated place located within Allamuchy Township in the eastern region of the Lehigh Valley.

Morris Canal
The Morris Canal was a 107-mile (172-km) canal across northern New Jersey in the United States. In use from the late 1820s to the 1920s, it stretched from Phillipsburg on the Delaware River eastward to Jersey City on the Hudson River. It was considered a technical marvel for its water-driven inclined planes to cross the northern New Jersey hills. Completed to Newark in 1831, the canal was extended eastward to Jersey City between 1834 and 1836.

Stephens State Park
Stephens State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is 805 acres (3 km²) in area, located in western Morris County, north of Hackettstown along the upper Musconetcong River. The park is operated and maintained by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. The park includes the remnants of one of the 23 locks, as well as a section of the towpath, of the Morris Canal, built in 1831 to transport anthracite coal from Pennsylvania to New York City.
