Boonton Iron Works

The Boonton Iron Works were founded about 1770 by Samuel Ogden who, with others in his family, purchased a 6-acre tract along the Rockaway River, near Boonton, New Jersey, United States. Here rolling and slitting mills were erected that engaged in the manufacture of nail rods and bar iron. With the construction of the Morris Canal in 1830, the New Jersey Iron Company was organized. This company built a new plant costing $283,000 and imported skilled mechanics from England.

Boonton is a town in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, that was chartered in 1867. As of the 2010 United States Census, the town's population was 8,347, reflecting a decline of 149 (-1.8%) from the 8,496 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 153 (+1.8%) from the 8,343 counted in the 1990 Census. The town was originally called "Boone-Towne" in 1761 in honor of the Colonial Governor Thomas Boone.

Mountain Lakes (NJT station)

Mountain Lakes Station is a New Jersey Transit station in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey along the Montclair-Boonton Line. The first station heading eastbound not concurrent with the Morristown Line, Mountain Lakes station serves a one track main line with one low-level platform on the southbound side of the track. Mountain Lakes station is located on Midvale Road, located off of Interstate 287.

The Craig School

The Craig School is an independent, private coeducational day school located in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, United States, serving students in third through to twelfth grade.
