Boonton, New Jersey
Boonton is a town in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, that was chartered in 1867. As of the 2010 United States Census, the town's population was 8,347, reflecting a decline of 149 (-1.8%) from the 8,496 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 153 (+1.8%) from the 8,343 counted in the 1990 Census. The town was originally called "Boone-Towne" in 1761 in honor of the Colonial Governor Thomas Boone.

Boonton Iron Works
The Boonton Iron Works were founded about 1770 by Samuel Ogden who, with others in his family, purchased a 6-acre tract along the Rockaway River, near Boonton, New Jersey, United States. Here rolling and slitting mills were erected that engaged in the manufacture of nail rods and bar iron. With the construction of the Morris Canal in 1830, the New Jersey Iron Company was organized. This company built a new plant costing $283,000 and imported skilled mechanics from England.

Montville is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 21,528, reflecting an increase of 689 (+3.3%) from the 20,839 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 5,239 (+33.6%) from the 15,600 counted in the 1990 Census. Montville was incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 11, 1867, from portions of Pequannock Township.

Montville Township High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Montville Township, New Jersey, in suburban Morris County. The school was founded in 1972 and is part of the Montville Township School District. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 1975.

Towaco (NJT station)
Towaco Station is a New Jersey Transit station in the Towaco section of Montville, New Jersey along the Montclair-Boonton Line. The station was renovated in the late 1990s. The railroad line is currently just one main track, but operated as many as four tracks in the 1920s for transport of eastbound coal and goods. The railway bridges over US highway 202 in the Towaco area initially carried the four tracks. The general incline of the track in this area is an eastward downhill grade.
