Maxson Airfield is a privately owned, private-use airport located two nautical miles (4 km) south of the central business district of Alexandria Bay, a village in Jefferson County, New York, United States. This general aviation airport is situated in the Thousand Islands region. It once had commercial service provided by Mohawk Airlines. At that time, the airport bore the IATA airport code AXB. Bonnie Castle Recreation Center

Bonnie Castle Recreation Center is an ice rink facility in Alexandria Bay, New York. It features an NHL sized sheet of ice for hockey, figure skating and open skating. Located just three miles from Bonnie Castle Year Round Resort. The ice arena was the home of a professional ice hockey team, the Thousand Islands Privateers of the Federal Hockey League, from 2010 until 2012, when they moved their home games to nearby Watertown.

Keewaydin State Park

Keewaydin State Park is a state park in the Town of Alexandria in Jefferson County, New York in the United States of America. The park is located along the St. Lawrence River, southwest of the Village of Alexandria Bay on New York State Route 12. Open year-round, the park offers a pool and showers, picnic tables, a playground, a campground, fishing and ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and a boat launch.

Sunken Rock Light

Sunken Rock Light is a lighthouse in Bush Island, New York. It was converted to solar power in 1988. It is maintained by the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation pursuant to an agreement with the U.S. Coast Guard authorized under 14 USC 81.

Castle Rest

"Castle Rest, the first of several "castles" of the Thousand Islands, was a distinctive architectural work of architect Solon Spencer Beman. Designed for George M. Pullman the structure became a landmark feature of tourist steamboat excusions when constructed in 1888. "Castle Rest" on Pullman Island remained in the Pullman-Lowden family until the mid-twentieth century when the main structure was demolished. Ancillary buildings designed by Beman remain on the island.
