Bog Brook Reservoir
The Bog Brook Reservoir is a 379-acre reservoir in the Croton Watershed in southern New York State. It is located in the town of Southeast, New York in Putnam County, and is approximately 38 miles (over 60 kilometres) north of New York City, to which it supplies water. It was formed by the damming of Bog Brook, a small tributary of the East Branch of the Croton River, which is in turn a tributary of the Croton River.

Southeast (Metro-North station)
Southeast (formerly known as Brewster North) is a Metro-North Railroad station serving the residents of Southeast, New York via the Harlem Line. Trains leave for New York City every hour, and about every 30 minutes during rush hour. It is the terminus of the Harlem Line electrified service. For travel farther north to Wassaic, passengers must transfer here to diesel powered service. Exceptions are rush hours and a direct round-trip to Grand Central on weekends.

East Branch Reservoir, formed by impounding the eponymous branch of the Croton River, is part of New York City's water supply network. It is located in the Putnam County town of Southeast, near the village of Brewster 35 miles (56 km) north of the city. It was placed into service in 1891, and holds 5.2 billion US gallons at full capacity.

Brewster is a village within the town of Southeast in Putnam County, New York, United States. Its population was 2,390 at the 2010 census. The village is the most densely populated portion of the town. The village is named for two early farmer landowners, Walter and James Brewster.
