Kew Gardens – Union Turnpike is an express station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line of the New York City Subway. Located at Union Turnpike and Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens and Forest Hills, Queens, it is served by the E and F trains at all times. Despite the station's name, Union Turnpike forms the border between Kew Gardens and Forest Hills, and the station straddles that border. Multiple entrances are located in each neighborhood.

Archbishop Molloy High School

Archbishop Molloy High School (also called Molloy, Archbishop Molloy, or AMHS) is a co-educational, college preparatory, Catholic school for grades 9-12, located on 6 acres in the Briarwood section of Queens in New York City, thirty minutes east of Manhattan. Molloy currently has an endowment of about $6,000,000 (as of Nov. 2010). The school's current principal is Br. Thomas Schady, who started his term in July 2009.

Catherine Susan "Kitty" Genovese (July 7, 1935 – March 13, 1964) was a New York City woman who was stabbed to death near her home in the Kew Gardens neighborhood of the borough of Queens in New York City, on March 13, 1964. The circumstances of her murder and the lack of reaction of numerous neighbors were reported by a newspaper article published two weeks later; the common portrayal of neighbors being fully aware but completely non responsive has since been criticized as inaccurate.

75th Avenue (IND Queens Boulevard Line)

75th Avenue (originally 75th Avenue – Puritan Avenue) is a local station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line of the New York City Subway in Forest Hills, Queens. Located at the intersection of 75th Avenue and Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills, Queens, it is served by the F train at all times and the E train on nights and weekends. This underground station, opened on December 31, 1936, has four tracks and two side platforms.

Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yisrael Meir HaKohen, also known as Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim: Rabbinical Seminary of America (RSA), and often referred to as just Chofetz Chaim (חָפֵץ חַיִּים) is a major Orthodox yeshiva in the United States based in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens, New York. It is primarily an American, Lithuanian-style Talmudic yeshiva. The yeshiva is named in memory of Rabbi Yisroel Meir Kagan, who was known as the Chafetz Chaim (חָפֵץ חַיִּים) after the name of his book with the same title.
