Titicus Reservoir

Titicus Reservoir is one of 12 in the New York City Water Supply System's Croton watershed. It is located in the Town of North Salem in Westchester County, 30 miles (48 km) north of the city. At full capacity it holds 7.2 billion gallons (2.7 million m³). It is 681.5 acres (2.7 km²) in area, two miles (3.2 km) long, reaches a mean depth of 32 feet (9.8 m) and drains a 24-square mile (62.4 km²) area in North Salem and Lewisboro.

Peach Lake, New York

Peach Lake is a hamlet located mostly in the town of Southeast in Putnam County, New York; a portion of the CDP is in the town of North Salem in Westchester County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 1,629. The community of Peach Lake is located on the northeast side of a lake with the same name. The lake itself is in two counties. The community is south of Interstate 84.

Waccabuc, New York

Waccabuc is a hamlet and lake in the town of Lewisboro, Westchester County, New York. Waccabuc was first established as a vacation home for the Mead family, for whom the core road of the hamlet, Mead Street, is named. Also in Waccabuc is the Mead Memorial Chapel which is included in the national register of historical places. The Mead family has entrusted the oversight of the Chapel and the adjoining library to McGrath Management Services Inc, headquartered in Bedford NY.

Purdy's (Metro-North station)

The Purdy's Metro-North Railroad station serves the residents of Purdy's, a hamlet in North Salem, New York, via the Harlem Line. It is 46 miles (74 km) from Grand Central Terminal and the average travel time to Grand Central is 1 hour, 12 minutes. Like its southern neighbor, Golden's Bridge, Purdy's is located next to Interstate 684, at NY 116 (Exit 7). However, unlike Golden's Bridge, trees block the view of the station from the freeway.
