North Mecklenburg High School

North Mecklenburg High School is a high school in Huntersville, in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Founded in 1951, it was integrated in the 1960s. With over 3000 students, it had the largest student body in North Carolina during the 2005–2014 school year. The current principal is Matthew Hayes. The school mascot is the Viking, and school colors are royal blue, red, and white.

Northlake Mall (Charlotte)

Northlake Mall is an upscale shopping mall located eight miles (13 km) north of center city Charlotte, North Carolina off of Interstate 77 at exit 18, Harris Blvd, and off of Interstate 485 at exit 21 Harris Blvd and owned by upscale mall company Taubman Centers. In 2005, when Northlake Mall opened, it filled a void for the lack of retail in the northern portion of Mecklenburg County.

Bradford Field (North Carolina)

Bradford Field is a private-use airport located three miles (5 km) east of the central business district of Huntersville, a town in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, United States. It is privately owned by W. O. & Cecil D. Bradford. It was opened in the late 1960s by the Bradford brothers at the request of a few private aircraft owners in the town of Huntersville.

Highland Creek (Charlotte neighborhood)

The Highland Creek subdivision in North Carolina is one of the largest in the state. It is home to approximately 13,000 residents. The community features an 18-hole golf course, five community swimming pools, parks, playgrounds and walking trails. It spans over two counties: Mecklenburg and Cabarrus. Highland Creek also straddles two cities: Charlotte and Concord. The city of Concord completed the annexation of its portion of Highland Creek in June 2007.
