Irwin Belk Track and Field Center/Transamerica Field

The Irwin Belk Track and Field Center/Transamerica Field is a stadium located on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Finished in 1996, the stadium is home to the 49ers soccer and track and field teams. The facility includes the Southeast's first 8 lane continuous radius track with full-depth polyurethane surface; and 10,500 square feet of internal space including coaches offices, locker rooms and a hospitality suite in the North Pavilion.

Dale F. Halton Arena

Dale F. Halton Arena at the James H. Barnhardt Student Activity Center (commonly shortened to Halton Arena) is an indoor sports venue located on the main campus of UNC Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is the home venue of the Charlotte 49ers men's and women's basketball teams and volleyball team. Halton Arena was named for the former President and CEO of Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Charlotte.

Charlotte Research Institute

The Charlotte Research Institute (CRI) is a partnership between the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and corporations in the region. The goal of CRI is to develop technology-based academic and business partnerships, ranging from consultation to onsite collaborative research. The institute's support of education and research includes its three centers: eBusiness, Optoelectronics and Optical Communications, and Precision Metrology. The CRI is located on UNC Charlotte's Millennial Campus.

Cyrillic Projector

The Cyrillic Projector is a sculpture created by American artist Jim Sanborn in the early 1990s, and was purchased by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1997. It is currently installed between the campus' Friday and Fretwell Buildings.
