WSIC

WSIC is a radio station operating in Statesville, North Carolina. The station started service on May 3 of 1947 along with its former sister station WMKS (originally WSIC-FM, then WFMX before splitting off in July 2006). The pair was the first AM and FM radio stations to sign on simultaneously in the nation. Some of WSIC's alumni include Ty Boyd and Harold Johnson. The station is owned by Iredell Broadcasting, Inc.

Congregation Emanuel (Statesville, North Carolina)

Congregation Emanuel is a Conservative synagogue in Statesville, North Carolina. Built in 1891, it is the oldest house of worship in Statesville and the third oldest synagogue building in the state. The synagogue is located near downtown Statesville and the campus of Mitchell Community College at 206 North Kelly Street.

Iredell County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of 2010, the population was 159,437. Its county seat is Statesville and its largest town is Mooresville. It is a major hub of NASCAR racing, with many race shops located in the county. Universal Technical Institute operates NASCAR Technical Institute under licensing agreements. The school offers racing-related instruction to prepare the student for their job search in the racing industry.
