KBTO

KBTO (101.9 FM, "Sunny 101.9") is a country music radio station in Bottineau, North Dakota. The station also targets Minot, North Dakota, with a rimshot signal. The main offices and KBTO studios are located west of town at 1120 Highway 5 West. The transmitter and tower are northeast of town. KBTO's owner, Programmer's Broadcasting, also owns KWGO 102.9 in Burlington, and KTZU 94.9 in Minot.

Bottineau Winter Park

Bottineau Winter Park is a modest alpine ski area nestled in the Turtle Mountains of north-central North Dakota, 10 miles north of Bottineau. Approximately three miles (5 km) south of the international border with Canada in Bottineau County, BWP covers 40 acres and was started in 1969 by local businessmen. Tentatively, the new lodge will open in the summer of 2013, which will be a year round facility.

Mystical Horizons

Mystical Horizons, located near Carbury, North Dakota on the Scenic Byway on North Dakota Highway 43 near the North Dakota and Manitoba border, is intended to represent a 21st century Stonehenge. It consists of six pink granite walls of varying heights that also function as a working solar calendar. The structure was built in 2005. A plaque (photo 1 in external links) reads "Dedicated to Jack Olson's vision of a Century 21 Stonehenge" and lists the building partnerships.
