Medora Musical

The Medora Musical is a regularly performed musical production near the town of Medora, North Dakota. It is presented in the Burning Hills Amphitheatre starting at 8:30 p.m. MDT nightly from June 8th-September 8th, 2012. The amphitheatre seats 2,853. The musical is a look back at the "Wild West" days of the region and includes references to Theodore Roosevelt (who spent time in western North Dakota). The musical is produced by Curt Wollan of StageWest Entertainment INC.

Medora is a city in Billings County, North Dakota in the United States. It is the county seat of, and only incorporated place in, Billings County. The population was 112 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dickinson Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Theodore Roosevelt Wilderness

Theodore Roosevelt Wilderness is located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. Created by an act of Congress in 1978, the wilderness covers an area of 29,920 acres (121 km) and comprises over a third of the entire area of Theodore Roosevelt National Park both of which are managed by the National Park Service. There are two geographically separated sections of wilderness, one in each of the units of the National Park.

Sentinel Butte, North Dakota

Sentinel Butte is a city in Golden Valley County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 56 at the 2010 census. Sentinel Butte was founded in 1902 along the transcontinental rail line of the Northern Pacific Railway. The name comes from the prominent butte (3,428 ft) three miles (5 km) to the south. This geographical feature was named in honor of two Arikara sentinels killed nearby in 1864 by the Sioux.
