The Village is a city in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, United States, and a part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The population was 10,157 at the 2000 census. The Village is entirely surrounded by Oklahoma City, except where it abuts Nichols Hills, Oklahoma. The Village is home to the corporate headquarters of Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores, the OKC Friday community newspaper, and Casady School. The Village has a City Manager form of government.

Griffin Television Tower Oklahoma

Griffin Television Tower Oklahoma (also known as KWTV Mast) is a 480.5 meter (1,576 ft) high guy-wired aerial mast for the transmission of two television stations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA built in 1954. The stations which transmit from the tower are KWTV and KETA. It was the tallest structure in the world at the time it was built. The tower features multiple levels of double guy wires to protect it against severe wind storms.
