New Tulsa, Oklahoma

New Tulsa was a town in Wagoner County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 568 at the 2000 census. The town was dissolved in 2001 by a vote of the residents and is now part of the city of Broken Arrow.

Union Multipurpose Activity Center

The Union Multipurpose Activity Center (also known as the UMAC or John Q. Hammons Arena) is a 5,662-seat multipurpose arena located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Built in 2003 at a cost of $22 million, it is the home of the Union High School Redskins basketball team. It hosted The Summit League's men’s basketball tournament from 2005 to 2008. The arena contains 2,934 permanent seats and can host concerts, trade shows (27,480 square feet of space at the arena floor), conventions, and other events.

KXAP-LD is a Spanish-language television station serving Oklahoma's Green Country region and the Tulsa metropolitan area that is affiliated with Estrella TV. It broadcasts a low-powered standard-definition digital signal on UHF channel 51 from a transmitter located between South 103rd Avenue and the Mingo Valley Expressway/U.S. 169 in southeast Tulsa. Owned by Teletul Media Group, KXAP maintains studios located on East 2nd Street and Peoria Avenue (just off of Interstate 244) in downtown Tulsa.
