Big Butte Springs

Big Butte Springs are natural springs located near the south fork of Big Butte Creek in Jackson County, Oregon, about 30 miles north of Medford. It provides 26,000,000 US gallons of high quality water per day. The springs are fed by an 88-square-mile watershed. The water requires minimal treatment to meet water quality standards. The hardness of the springs' water has declined in recent years. In 2007, the springs were tested in 120 different areas, exceeding federal standards in all of them.

Lost Creek Lake

Lost Creek Lake is a reservoir located on the Rogue River in Jackson County, Oregon, USA. The lake is impounded by William L. Jess Dam which was constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1977 for flood control. The lake and dam were the first completed elements of the multi-purpose Rogue River Basin Project, consisting of Lost Creek Lake, Applegate Lake and the Elk Creek project. The lake is located approximately 27 miles (straight line) northeast of Medford, Oregon.

Lost Creek Bridge

The Lost Creek Bridge is a wooden covered bridge located near Lake Creek, Oregon, United States, about 15 miles (24 km) ENE of Medford. The bridge is about 11.89 meters (39 feet) long, making it the shortest covered bridge in Oregon. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and subsequently closed to vehicle traffic. A newer concrete bridge runs parallel and serves as a bypass.
