Dodson is an unincorporated community in Multnomah County, Oregon, United States. It is located about 4½ miles east of Multnomah Falls and one mile west of Warrendale, in the Columbia River Gorge on Interstate 84/U.S. Route 30. Skamania, Washington

Skamania is a small unincorporated community in Skamania County in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Washington. Skamania is home to Skamania Elementary School and the Skamania General Store. It is also, in Franz Lake, home to wintering grounds for Tundra Swans, and 35 acres of Wapato, previously extinct in Washington and endangered in Oregon, now scarce but stable in both states.

Warrendale, Oregon

Warrendale is an unincorporated community in Multnomah County, Oregon, United States. It is located about a mile east of Dodson and about 3 miles west of Bonneville in the Columbia River Gorge on Interstate 84/U.S. Route 30. It is across the Columbia River from Beacon Rock. The community was the site of an important salmon cannery founded in the 1870s.

Horsetail Falls (Oregon)

Horsetail Falls (or Horse Tail Falls) is a waterfall along the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, United States. The waterfall is easily accessed, in contrast to its near neighbor Oneonta Falls, as it is right next to the Historic Columbia River Highway. The shape of the falls and the rounded rockface over which it flows cause it to resemble a horse's tail. There are actually two waterfalls along the creek.

Oneonta Gorge

The Oneonta Gorge is in the Columbia River Gorge in the American state of Oregon. The U.S. Forest Service has designated it as a botanical area because of the unique aquatic and woodland plants that grow there. The basalt walls are home to a wide variety of ferns, mosses, hepatics and lichens, many of which grow only in the Columbia River Gorge. Oneonta Creek runs through the gorge. There are four major waterfalls on the creek.
