Suttle Lake (Oregon)

Suttle Lake is a natural lake near the crest of the Cascade Range in central Oregon, United States, covering 253 acres . It was named in honor of John Settle, whose name was misspelled when the lake was officially recorded as a geographic feature. Today, the lake is located within the Deschutes National Forest and serves as one of central Oregon's most popular outdoor recreation sites, with three large campgrounds and two day-use areas along the south shore of the lake.

Holley, Oregon

Holley is an unincorporated community in Linn County, Oregon, United States. It is located about four miles southwest of Sweet Home on Oregon Route 228 near the Calapooia River. For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau has defined Holley as a census-designated place (CDP). The census definition of the area may not precisely correspond to local understanding of the area with the same name. The Holley area was once the source of the semi-precious gemstone Holley Blue Agate.

Sweet Home Valley

The Sweet Home Valley of the South Santiam River runs from an area known as The Narrows near the western edge of the city of Sweet Home, Oregon to the confluence of the South Santiam and Middle Santiam rivers at Foster Reservoir on the east. Extending on either side of the South Santiam, nearly all of the valley south of the river is inside the city of Sweet Home while the valley north of the river remains unincorporated.
