Baylor School

Baylor School, commonly called Baylor, is a private, coeducational prep school on the outskirts of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Founded in 1893, the school currently sits atop a 680 acres campus and enrolls students in grades 6-12, including boarding students in grades 9-12. These students are served by Baylor's 148 members of faculty, over two-thirds of whom hold advanced degrees, including nearly 40 adults who live on campus and serve as dorm parents.

The Second Battle of Chattanooga was a battle in the American Civil War, beginning on August 21, 1863, as the opening battle in the Chickamauga Campaign. The larger and more famous battles were the Battles for Chattanooga (generally referred to as the Battle of Chattanooga) in November 1863.

WGOW (AM)

WGOW, known as "NewsRadio 1150", is the Chattanooga home for mostly conservative syndicated talk radio programs from ABC Radio. It broadcasts on AM frequency 1150 kHz and is currently under ownership of Cumulus Media. The station first went on the air in the early 1970s as a Top 40 station. By the mid 1980s the station had evolved into more of an Adult Contemporary style format. In the late 1980s they shifted to their current News/Talk format.

Red Bank, Tennessee

Red Bank is a city in Hamilton County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 12,418 at the 2000 census. Red Bank is an enclave, being entirely surrounded by Chattanooga. As of the 2010 election, the Board of Commissioners has Monty Millard (mayor), John Roberts (vice mayor), Floy Pierce, Ruth Jeno,and Ken Welch are the district commissioners. Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at Red Bank City Hall on the first and third Tuesdays of every month.
