Red Bank, Tennessee

Red Bank is a city in Hamilton County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 12,418 at the 2000 census. Red Bank is an enclave, being entirely surrounded by Chattanooga. As of the 2010 election, the Board of Commissioners has Monty Millard (mayor), John Roberts (vice mayor), Floy Pierce, Ruth Jeno,and Ken Welch are the district commissioners. Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at Red Bank City Hall on the first and third Tuesdays of every month.

Baylor School

Baylor School, commonly called Baylor, is a private, coeducational prep school on the outskirts of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Founded in 1893, the school currently sits atop a 680 acres campus and enrolls students in grades 6-12, including boarding students in grades 9-12. These students are served by Baylor's 148 members of faculty, over two-thirds of whom hold advanced degrees, including nearly 40 adults who live on campus and serve as dorm parents.

Chickamauga Lake

Chickamauga Lake is a United States reservoir along the Tennessee River created when the Chickamauga Dam, as part of the Tennessee Valley Authority, was completed in 1940. The lake stretches from Watts Bar Dam at mile 529.9 (853 km) to Chickamauga Dam at mile 471.0 (758 km) making the lake 58.9 miles (94.8 km) long. It borders Rhea County, Meigs County, and Hamilton County with 810 miles (1,303 km) of shoreline and two bridges crossing it at State Highway 60 and Highway 30.
