Little Chapel in the Woods

The Little Chapel in the Woods is a chapel constructed mainly for meditation and prayer. It was built in 1939, on the Denton campus of Texas Womans University, and was dedicated by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. Inside the chapel, there are many pieces of artwork, as well as stained glass windows. It was designed by regional architect O'Neil Ford.

Denton Community Theatre

The Denton Community Theatre is a local theatre located in Denton, Texas in the United States. It serves as one of the oldest community theatres in the Denton area having been in existence for over 25 years. It is located at the historical Campus Theatre on West Hickory Street. Denton County, Texas

Denton County is a county in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, its population was 662,614. {{#invoke:Footnotes|sfn}} Part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex (and including small parts of both cities), it is one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States. {{#invoke:Footnotes|sfn}} The county seat is Denton. The county, which was named for John B. Denton, was established in 1846.

Denton High School

Denton High School is a high school located in Denton, Texas. Denton High was the first high school to open in Denton. It has since moved three times. DHS was established in 1884. In 1910 Denton High School moved to what is now Calhoun Middle School. In 1957, DHS moved again, this time to its current location on Fulton Street. In the 1990s, DHS yielded grades 10-12 to the newly opened Billy Ryan High School.
