Frisco is an affluent city in Collin and Denton counties in Texas and a rapidly growing suburb of Dallas, approximately 25 minutes from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport. With major highways north-south and east-west, the city is well positioned on the path of growth in the Dallas area. As of January 1st, 2013, the city had a Population Estimate of 129,574, up from 116,989, in the previous census (2010).

Wakeland High School

Justin Wakeland High School is a high school located in Frisco, Texas and it is one of six high schools currently in the Frisco Independent School District. It opened for the first time to students on August 14, 2006. Most sophomores and juniors were transferred from Frisco High School because of expansion of the city and Frisco ISD. Incoming freshman usually came from Griffin Middle School, and others from Staley Middle School.

Frisco Liberty High School

Liberty High School is a high school located in Frisco, Texas, part of the Frisco Independent School District. Liberty opened on August 14, 2006 in what is now Fowler Middle School. The following school year is when Liberty opened in its current building on Rolater Road.

Frisco Centennial High School

Frisco Centennial High School is one of six high schools in the Frisco Independent School District in Frisco, Texas. The school opened in 2003 for 9th and 10th graders, and has since expanded to include grades 11 and 12. It was the second high school opened in Frisco. It is provided served by Clark and Wester Middle Schools. By 2006-2007, Centennial had exceeded its capacity of 1800 students. In the fall of 2006, Frisco Liberty High School was opened to help relieve this overcrowding.
