Allen Event Center

The Allen Event Center is an American 6,275 fixed-seat multi-purpose arena located in Allen, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas. It opened on November 6, 2009. The center hosts the home games of the Central Hockey League's Allen Americans (the minor league affiliate of the Dallas Stars) and the Indoor Football League's Texas Revolution. The Miss Texas pageant relocated to the center beginning with the July 2012 finals.

Suncreek United Methodist Church

Suncreek United Methodist Church of is part of the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. The church was started in 1995 and was officially constituted as a United Methodist Church on September 22, 1996. The church was made momentarily notorious on February 19, 2005 as the location from which Republican 3rd Texas District Congressman Sam Johnson proposed attacking Syria with nuclear weapons in response to his assumption that Syria was harboring many of Iraq's supposed WMDs.

Lovejoy High School (Lucas, Texas)

Lovejoy High School is a public, co-educational secondary school in Lucas, Texas in south central Collin County. It is the only high school of the Lovejoy Independent School District serving grades 9-12. Lovejoy High School serves most of the cities of Lucas, most of Fairview, and a small portion of Allen. Until the Fall of 2006, all high school students zoned to Lovejoy Independent School District attended nearby Allen High School. The school graduated its first senior class in 2010.
