Leanderthal Lady
Leanderthal Lady, discovered in January 1983, is the name given to the skeletal remains of a prehistoric woman found at the Wilson-Leonard Brushy Creek Site (an ancient Native American campsite) in the city of Cedar Park, Texas, by the Texas Department of Transportation. The remains were also alternatively labeled "Leanne". Both names were inspired by the proximity of the site to the town of Leander, to the north.

Cedar Park High School (CPHS) is a high school in Cedar Park, Texas; it was established in 1998 to serve as the second high school in the Leander Independent School District. The school was built due to the rapid growth in the area. The school's mascot is the Timberwolf, and the colors of CPHS are forest green and black with silver as an accent. Cedar Park High School competes in UIL district 25-4A. The football team plays at the new Gupton Stadium in Cedar Park, Texas.
