Garza County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas southeast of Lubbock. As of the 2010 census, its population was 6,461. Its county seat is Post. Garza is named for a pioneer Bexar County family, as it was once a part of that county. A leading civic figure in Garza County was until his death in 2011 Giles McCrary, a rancher, oil developer, investor, and art collector.

KSNY-FM
KSNY-FM (101.5 FM, "Twister 101.5") is the companion station to KSNY (AM). The station began in 1980 at 101.7 mHz as 'FM-102' with an Easy Listening format. The station was automated in the beginning until its move to 101.5 and the format change to country. The station now has coverage in the Big Spring and Abilene markets.
